Where the Rubber Meets the Road – Mindfulness in Real Life

A HKMTN Workshop Series

Have you experienced the benefits of Mindfulness practice but have questions about how it can help with specific challenges you face?

How do we take our practice ‘off the cushion’ and continue to reap  the benefits in our daily lives?

Real life presents many challenges to our ability to stay mindful, present and kind. Through this workshop series, we explore how Mindfulness can help us with our healthy habits, relationships, stress, sleep, and other topics you may wish to explore.

Healthy Habits with Mindfulness

Nov 21, Tues – 8pm -9.15pm, Zoom

When it comes to our lifestyle habits and choices, many of us struggle with discipline or motivation, or feel defeated or troubled by shame or judgement. Whether it is our diet, fitness, digital or mental habits, mindfulness can show us a more balanced, consistent and effective way to greater health and well-being.

We will learn how Mindfulness helps us see the root causes of our challenges, overcome discouragement and difficult emotions so that we can find new, encouraging ways to engage with our desired habits!

Mindful Relationships

Dec 6, Weds – 8pm -9.15pm, Zoom

Do you find it difficult to maintain your mindfulness when you’re with your family or colleagues? Are you facing some interpersonal challenges such as friction, change, or disconnection? Or you might be asking – I might be mindful, but what if my partner/friends/family are not?

This is an opportunity to experience relational Mindfulness practice – we learn how it’s possible to further develop  our mindfulness and stability in interpersonal engagements. This can then be applied in a range of relationship situations where our ability to stay present and aware becomes the foundation for positive change. This is a huge topic, so we will also have some time for mindful reflection on our own interpersonal challenges and some Q&A.

Register now!

Cost

$180 for 1 workshop or $320 for both.
