Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an in-depth evidence-based, eight-week meditation program. It is one of the most widely known clinical programs of its type, designed to integrate mindfulness into everyday life, facilitate increased well-being and reduce psychological distress. The programs creator, professor emeritus Jon Kabat-Zinn, is an internationally renowned author, lecturer, teacher and scientist who has been attributed to transforming Eastern mindfulness practices into methods for the West. He designed this program for people suffering chronic and acute stress, chronic pain and illness, mental health issues and associated anxiety and depression.

MBSR has become the gold standard in mindfulness training around the world. The techniques taught in this program supports our ability to manage the stresses of everyday life and improve our mental and physical wellbeing which is essential to life.

8 x Weekly Sessions (2 hours each) on Tuesday evenings / 1 Day Retreat (6 hours) Sunday 4th August, is a program included as part of the course curriculum. / Home guided Meditation Practice for 30-45 minutes daily throughout the course. / Handbook and recordings provided.
