Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction MBSR (8 Weeks) MBSR

MBSR is the original 8-week mindfulness course founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1979. It is held in a group setting, with teacher-guided instruction of formal and informal mindfulness practices in order to cultivate awareness of the ways that the mind and body connect for health and well-being.

It takes eight weeks of consistent practice to change cognitive, emotional, neurological and behavioural patterns. Over the course of the program, students will be taught a number of key skills centred around mindfulness.

By the end of the program students will be equipped with resources to live a more enriched life.
