Date(s) - 13/10/2018 - 17/10/2018
This short residential retreat is designed to support those who have never attended a retreat before, and those who have a requirement, as a mindfulness teacher, to attend a short retreat annually. For this reason we have scheduled it to coincide with the schools’ mid-term break in October. The program will include concentration, insight and loving kindness practices as well as yoga and mindful walking. There will also be lectures and discussions on aspects of Buddhist psychology which directly support our practice and teaching of mindfulness.
Initially we will open reservations for those who wish to attend all 5 days of the retreat. Later, if vacancies remain, we will open bookings for the first 3 days of the retreat.
Dates: Saturday 13th October 12 noon to Wednesday 17th October 2pm
Retreat Leader: Peta McAuley, PhD
Venue: Fa Hong Monastery, Lantau
Cost: Donation basis, but we ask a deposit of $500 to cover cost of food purchase
Peta McAuley has been offering public courses in mindfulness in Hong Kong since 2003 and has attended residential retreats annually during the last 15 years.
