An Introductory Workshop on Mindfulness and Peak Performance
In this 1.5-hour workshop, we will explore how mindfulness can be applied in areas of performance for athletes, executives, leaders, musicians, dancers, law enforcement, first responders and etc.
- I understand that Non-Striving is important in Mindfulness practice but what if I need to achieve goals and better performance professionally?
- How leading sport teams and athletes build resilience, focus and inner-coach?
- What is “flow state” and its relationships with mindfulness?
- Any neuroscience researches about mindful peak performance?
Facilitator: Karson Wong
Karson is a Coach-in-Training of mPEAK (Mindful Performance Enhancement, Awareness and Knowledge) program developed by UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. He is also a qualified MBSR teacher by UMass. Medical School Center for Mindfulness.
